Complete the form fields and press the Submit button (a Download File web page will then be shown). Sorry...the software is currently available only to people that are
within the borders of either the United States or a Territory of the United States.
To allow only U.S. computers, downloads of the software are allowed only when the downloading computer's IP is a United States or a United States Territory IP. Al-
so, even if PC File Tracker or Computer Timer is downloaded, the programs determine code page (Character Encoding table) data and quit when the startup and active
code pages aren't any of United States code pages 437, 909, and 910. Usually the startup and active code pages are identical. If you aren't sure what code pages your
computer uses, read "How to Determine if Your Active Code Page Is 437, 909, or 910".
PC File Tracker and Computer Timer are designed to work only with the PS/1 and the PC/AT and PS/2 family of computers (includes PC/AT, Aptiva, and later com-
puters and compatibles) and DOS 3.30-6.22 or Windows 95, 98, 2000, or XP (excludes DOS 8). For more system requirements information click here.
How to Determine if Your Active Code Page Is 437, 909, or 910
Issue a command prompt ECHO Alt+128 command. If a Latin capital 'C' with a cedilla (a mark somewhat like a comma put under the 'C') is displayed by the com-
mand, then issue an ECHO Alt+240 command. If three horizontal lines are displayed, then code page 437 is very likely active. If the lines aren't displayed, issue an
ECHO Alt+207 command. If the three horizontal lines are then displayed, then code page 909 or 910 is very likely active.
Note: A procedure to issue the ECHO Alt+128 command is to begin a command prompt session, type "ECHO" (don't type the double-quotation marks), press and re-
lease the spacebar, press the Alt key, and while you continue to hold down the Alt key, press the 1 key (the first digit of 128 - reading from left to right) on the numeric
keypad, release the key, press the 2 key on the numeric keypad, release the key, press the 8 key on the numeric keypad, release the key, and then release the Alt key.
The ECHO Alt+240 and ECHO Alt+207 commands are issued similarly. You may also determine if the active code your browser is using is any of the U.S. 437, 909,
and 910 code pages. To do so, click a text area on this web page and do the above Alt key procedures, except omit typing the "ECHO"'s and spaces.
